MS. Tennis IS A senior CONSULTANT WITH IBC. SHE JOINED THE FIRM IN January 2022.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a Minor in Business from The Pennsylvania State University. She entered the insurance industry in 1987, as a claims adjuster and has worked all facets of insurance from carrier to broker to regulator and managed two different self-insured funds in Pennsylvania. Ms. Tennis obtained a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Strategic Leadership, also from The Pennsylvania State University in 2008. Ms. Tennis obtained the designations of Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Insurance Industry Professional. Ms. Tennis is active in the insurance industry where she serves as the Chair for Central PA iDay, a past president of Insurance Professionals of Greater Harrisburg and volunteers with her church and other non-profit organizations. She is also certified to teach continuing education for Pennsylvania agents and brokers.
